Our trip to Japan - Tokyo, Osaka and a day trip to Kyoto

Return flight: Final transfer to Haneda Airport
We took this trip on the Tokyo Monorail. The Tokyo Monorail is a fast, 17.8 km long railway line that connects Haneda Airport (Terminals 3, 1, and 2) with central Tokyo (Hamamatsucho Station) in about 20 minutes. Fares are around 520–690 yen. It opened in 1964. It was already night, and we traveled mostly over water, which was a bit eerie since we didn't know it was a monorail when we boarded, and when we looked down, we saw ONLY water, no track or anything like that.

Tokyo Monorail in action

It's amazing, built in 1964, and the train is fast and doesn't look outdated at all. Here's a picture of the inside: wikipedia

Airport Haneda
We arrived at Terminal 3 and despite the people visible in the photo, we heard almost nothing!! Unbelievable.

We flew back on March 26th, thankfully, because a day later, due to the end of several events such as Formula 1 and two big concerts, there was a huge crowd gathering.
